Job Summary

The Peer Recovery Support Specialist will conduct substance use screenings, provide education and support to individuals identified as at risk, and connect participants with appropriate treatment, recovery, behavioral health, and community-based services. The position will facilitate referrals, assist with care coordination, monitor participant engagement, maintain accurate documentation, and serve as a trusted resource to reduce barriers to accessing care and support recovery outcomes.

Pay Range: $15.00- $21.15

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• The incumbent must possess certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS/CPRS), or be eligible to obtain
• One year of relevant experience in peer recovery support

Required Skills

Required skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, knowledge of substance use and recovery resources, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, care coordination

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders, and familiarity with community-based
