Description

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a SUPERVISOR-CLINICAL SERVICES To oversee and manage the daily coordination of Primary Care clinic operations, and ensure smooth workflows and consistent patient support. To lead the development and management of referral processes across internal and external clinics while maintaining strict data integrity and resolving discrepancies. To supervise clinic staff, support hiring and training, and drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency. To coordinate external lab requests, oversee results integration, and ensure accurate, timely handling of patient records. To maintain supply oversight and operational readiness to support high quality patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees and manage daily coordination of Primary Care clinic operations.
  • Manages referral processes, supply oversight, patient records integrity, and lab coordination.
  • Supervises staff and supports hiring and training.
  • Implements process improvements.
  • Develops and manages referral processes across internal/external clinics.
  • Maintains data integrity and resolves discrepancies.
  • Coordinates external lab requests and results integration.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
(Annual Salary: $43,890 - $71,320)

Qualifications

Associate's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience. Work experience MAY substitute for education requirement.
Bachelor's degree preferred OR equivalent experience Supervisory Responsibilities. Supervises up to 2 - 6 staff members
