The University of Alabama System (UA System) is seeking applications for the position of Legal Administrative Coordinator. This on-site role is based in Birmingham, Alabama, on the campus of The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Reporting to the Office Manager, the Legal Administrative Coordinator will provide a broad range of administrative support to multiple attorneys in the UAB Office of Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide confidential administrative support to multiple attorneys.
- Review and revise various documents, including affiliation agreements, employment agreements, and confidential disclosure agreements.
- Draft, manage, and maintain a large volume of corporate documents, including resolutions and bylaws.
- Process various filings with the Alabama Secretary of State.
- Maintain various departmental databases.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
- Experience reviewing and revising various types of agreements.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience managing and maintaining corporate entity data and documents.
