RESEARCHER TECHNICIAN

As a Researcher Technician, this entry-level position will play a pivotal role in supporting team operations within a dynamic research environment. The technician will assist with ongoing research projects in cell biology, biochemistry, and neurodegenerative disease research.
General Responsibilities
Under the guidance of managers, team leads, or senior technicians, you will conduct routine tests/measures and assist in various research endeavors.
Your responsibilities will include aiding investigators or senior researchers in conducting studies and procedures encompassing tasks such as data collection, solution preparation, and equipment setup and maintenance.
Depending on the research focus, this position may involve research collaborator contact, research animal contact, and/or specimens.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Assists investigators or senior researchers in conducting research studies/protocol implementation.
Performs routine tests and measures following established protocols and procedures.
Collaborates with supervisors, managers, or senior technicians to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Participate in data collection activities and maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results.
May prepare solutions, reagents, and other materials required for laboratory based experiments.
May set up and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.
Adheres to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized research environment.
Depending on the research focus, this position may involve research collaborator contact, research animal contact, and/or specimens.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Duties
Conducting laboratory experiments, maintaining laboratory organization, preparing reagents, and assisting with data collection and analysis.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or a related field.
Prior research experience is preferred but not required.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Hourly Range: $15.00-$24.40

Previous research experience or coursework preferred
