FINANCIAL AFFAIRS ASSOCIATE III

Description
To provide technical financial support for an assigned organization unit. To review requests and determine appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization, and conformance with established regulations. To assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts, review requisitions, and order equipment and supplies. To collect financial information and provide reports and analyses as needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Prepares and analyzes financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Assists in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
3. Monitors and reconciles bank accounts, general ledger entries, and financial transactions.
4. Assists in audits (both internal and external), providing necessary documentation and data.
5. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and management, to provide financial insights.
6. Provides ad-hoc financial analysis for special projects or management requests.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary range: $17.95 - $18.49/hr
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
