Description

In collaboration with Human Resources (HR) functional leaders, and in support of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), to lead and coordinate HR functions and support activities. To provide a high level of customer service to end users. To ensure services are provided effectively and efficiently. To perform HR special projects and reports as needed. To perform supervisory duties. May perform special project support for University-wide projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• In collaboration with HR functional leaders, leads and coordinates HR functions and activities in the HR Service Center.
• Provides a high level of customer service to end users.
• Ensures services are provided effectively and efficiently.
• Explains HR processes and procedures.
• Serves as the first point of contact for HR issues received via email, phone or in person resolving basic employee self-service, benefits, recruitment or other HR inquiries and issues as appropriate.
• Refers more complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Maintains the CHRO and ASKHR email accounts, and potentially others, and tracks responses and follow up needs in FreshDesk software.
• Provides detailed statistical feedback, reports and analysis to highlight opportunities to enhance operations and assess productivity.
• Performs HR special projects and reports as needed, to include but not limited to the Annual Space Survey.
• May perform special project support for University-wide projects.
• Enhances HR overall effectiveness by ensuring end user needs and HR information is shared timely and effectively.
• Performs supervisory responsibilities for direct reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range : $47,665 - $60,000

This position is an onsite position. Hours being 8:00a-5:00p

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. None required.
