General Responsibilities:
Directs operations of a programmatic function. Operates with a high degree of independence. Responsible for program development, content and administration. Establishes program objectives, manages programmatic fiscal activities, supervises staff engaged in carrying out program activities and may require grant writing and/or other ability to secure program funding. Prepares various reports for program.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, cultivate, and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with diverse external organizations to support community-based research opportunities.
2. Program Oversight and Implementation: Oversee the development and implementation of community-engaged research programs, ensuring they align with Center priorities and community needs.
3. Research Integration: Advise and consult with faculty on strategies to develop and implement community-based experiential learning and research projects, including community-based participatory research (CBPR) methods.
4. Mentorship: Develop community capacity-building programs and mentor students and junior scholars in community-engaged research.
5. Institutional Representation: Act as the primary liaison between researchers and community organizations, representing the CSCH at external forums, professional conferences, and on community boards.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary Pay Range: $60,835 – $98,855
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferences:
A Master's degree in Public Health, Public Affairs, Social Sciences, Higher Education Administration, or a related field is preferred.
