CLINICAL DATA ANALYST

General Responsibilities:
This position will support three junior faculty members and one senior faculty member with their grant-funded projects. This support includes building REDCap databases, managing clinical and administrative research data, performing statistical analysis, writing methods, results, tables, and figures for scientific manuscripts and grant mechanisms, and presenting data progress reports and results to CHARM team members and affiliated investigators for review. This position will also support an additional junior and senior investigator within the CHARM team, which includes faculty from GIMPOP, Hematology Oncology, and the O'Neal Cancer Center.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for data management and analysis.
2. Completes extensive programming for data manipulation and generates various statistical analyses.
3. Builds surveys and manages reporting on clinical research data.
4. Oversees and manages the security and integrity of data.
5. Technical assistance and coaching; ability to translate data to internal and external partners in a helpful context for data analysis and interpretation.
6. Manages portfolio of ongoing projects.
7. Under general supervision, designs and implements data management systems for clinical information.
8. Develops methods for tracking and reporting data.
9. Collects, enters, and statistically analyzes data and prepares a variety of special and recurring reports for publication or presentation.
10. Monitors completion of study data, handles quality assurance, and performs data cleaning.
11. Assists in preparation of methods, results, figures, tables, and general writing for scientific manuscripts and grants.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary Pay Range: $43,890 – $71,320
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Public Health, Statistics or a related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Minimum hiring rate must meet the most current FLSA guidelines for salary level and basis to remain exempt.
