Clinical Research Recruiter (Temp)

Description
To recruit, schedule and perform follow-up with research participants as protocols dictate. To maintain
current contact information for all past, present and potential study participants along with referring
facilities. To create and execute recruitment strategies based on needs of protocol. May work evenings
depending on study needs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Develops protocol-specific recruitment materials. Prepares study-related folders/packets and
mailings.
2. Contributes to the development of recruitment metrics and analyzes these data to assess status
and effectiveness of efforts. Administers data collection in-person, on phone or by zoom depending
on study protocols. May utilize study-specific systems for data collection and processing needs such
as OnCore, Greenphire or Oracle.
3. Serves as principal source of information for all volunteers, participants, staff, and investigators on
recruitment processes and campaigns. Contributes to the formulation of marketing and
communication plans. May assist in the development of survey instruments.
4. Educates patients on clinical research studies. Pre-screens patients for eligibility for clinical
research studies. Consents or facilitates consent with patients verbally or in-person in clinics,
hospitals, or communities. Maintains a contact list of clinic referrals. Schedules patients for
screening visits. Conducts reminder calls and/or manages rescheduling of potential participants.
Triages participant concerns with managers, directors, and investigators.
5. Identifies, develops and cultivates partnerships with community members. Reaches out to clinics in
the community to inform about studies, request displays and schedule lunch and learns.
6. Attends and reports at regular study meetings with managers, directors and investigators. May
attend study-specific investigator meetings throughout the United States.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
