Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham Temporary Services is seeking a Financial Affairs Associate III to provide technical financial support for an assigned organization unit. Reviews requests and determines appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization, and conformance with established regulations. Assists with the maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts,
reviews requisitions, and orders equipment and supplies. Collects financial information and provides reports and analyses as needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Processes financial transactions accurately and timely.
2. Prepares and analyzes financial reports for management.
3. Assists in budget preparation and monitoring.
4. Ensures compliance with financial policies and regulations.
5. Provides support during audits and financial reviews.
6. Assists with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
7. Provides training and support to staff regarding financial software and processes.
8. Conducts cost-benefit analysis, ROI analysis, or other financial assessments for new projects.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Hourly Rate: $15.45
Qualifications
Associate's degree and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may substitute for
education requirement.
