PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR II - (T230972)

Description

Administers the logistical support for a University-wide program, which is often of a large and/or complex nature. May participate in developing program plans, objectives and directives. May supervise support staff. Acts as a communication liaison with outside resources. Plans and carries out special projects related to the success of the program. Responsible for adherence to program budget. May provide education and training to UAB community.

Administrative role to support the Title IX Office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Office support.
  • Answer direct phone calls; greets visitors; maintain office supplies inventory.
  • Scheduling
  • Coordination
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings or appointments
  • Coordinate travel arrangements itineraries.
  • Organize meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes
  • Document Management
  • Ensure proper handling of confidential information.
  • Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports presentations
  • Communication
  • Draft and respond to emails or other correspondence
  • Relay messages and follow up on requests
  • Conduct presentations
  • Data Entry and Recordkeeping
  • Input and update data in spreadsheets or databases
  • Assist with budget tracking, credit card and travel reconciliation
  • Project and Task Support Assist with special projects or events
  • Conduct research and compile information as needed Monitor deadlines and follow up on action items
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Salary minimum: $38,170

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
