Job Description
To provide competent technical and non-technical leadership for the nuclear medicine cardiology department. To facilitate personnel functions, safety program and training functions. To interact with personnel outside of the department. To lead/guide technologists in their daily duties. To display good rapport and professionalism with all customers.
Qualifications
Graduate of a formal educational program in Nuclear Medicine Technology accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or meets the requirements for certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). One (1) year of nuclear medicine experience required. Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Currently certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required or must be obtained within six months of employment.
