General Responsibilities:
Responsible for administratively managing a large or complex University program or multiple programs. Provides input in the development of program plan and objectives with responsibility for achieving objectives within defined parameters. Typically supervises small staffs and are responsible for long range planning. Responsibilities include budgeting, networking/public relations, technical training and assistance, grant and report writing. May handle regulatory responsibilities, contract submissions and identify research funding. May handle event planning and oversight of construction projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for the management of the telephone-based recruitment process for the RURAL Study.
This includes telephone-based screening households for applicable candidates and then telephone based screening of individual candidates for inclusion into the study.
Once recruited, will be responsible for the scheduling of the Mobile Exam Unit baseline visit. This includes the mailing of a 'Welcome Packet' along with a telephone/ email reminder of the participant's upcoming visit.
The incumbent will also be responsible in making sure that the MEU schedule is fully maintained and optimized. This includes managing a list of study participants who would be willing to visit the MEU in the event of cancelations or no shows.
The position will also be responsible for mailing participant result letters, works withing the ClinCard system to ensure payment incentives are made, and engaging participants into other ancillary IRB approved research project.
Finally, the position will be key in training and managing new study staff, students and GRA along with other duties as specified.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $51,270 - $83,330
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
