CLINICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPEC I

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine has a Clinical Information Specialist I position available. This position is responsible for technical support including desktop management, installation and maintenance, and troubleshooting methodologies. We are seeking an IT professional with excellent communication and technical skills.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supports department information systems requirements and objectives.

  • Consults with system users and makes software and/or hardware recommendations.

  • Installs and/or develops customized software as required.

  • Provides training and documentation of software.

  • Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs as necessary any department hardware and peripherals.

  • May maintain department file server, i.e. back-ups, additions and deletion of users, etc

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Characteristics

  • Preferred Bachelor of Science (Information Technology)

  • Strong communication and technical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Hourly Range:$18.85-$30.65

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and one (1) year of related experience required.

  • Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
