Pay Range: $52,555.00 - $85,400.00 / year

Job Description:
To practice as a member of the multidisciplinary Nutrition Support Team responsible for the provision of medical nutrition therapy with specialty skill of parenteral nutrition (PN) support and management for assigned patient population. To develop, implement and monitor nutrition interventions to achieve medical nutrition therapy goals and desired outcomes, provide nutrition education and counseling and document all nutrition intervention in the medical record. To precept dietetic interns, participate in quality improvement activities and participate in multidisciplinary team activities and medical rounds.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Medical Dietetics required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. If licensed prior to 12/31/2023 a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Medical Dietetics required. If licensed after 01/01/2024 a Master's degree in Nutrition or Medical Dietetics required. Currently a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) by the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification (NBNSC) or must be obtained within eighteen (18) months of employment required. Currently licensed (active or temporary) as a Dietitian with the State of Alabama Board of Examiners for Dietetic/Nutrition Practice required.
