UAB Temp Services Temporary Services is seeking a Dental Hygienist to work under general supervision of the attending dentist and according to established policies and procedures, renders routine dental hygiene care such as scaling, root planning, curettages, cavitrons, polishing, applying sealants and administering fluoride treatments. Takes, develops and mounts radiographs of patient’s teeth as necessary.

May perform various administrative and clerical duties in support of department operations. Responds to the unique needs of all patients ages newborn through geriatric

Performs other duties as assigned

Hourly Pay Rate: $24.00

Qualifications

High School Diploma

Graduate from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene required.

Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Currently licensed with a Dental Hygiene License from the Alabama Board of Dental Examiners required.
