Description
The ideal candidate must be very organized, proactive, and flexible in order to adapt to an ever-changing environment. The candidate must have good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Must be knowledgeable in pre-award and post-award grants, as well as trainee grants. Supervisory and managerial skills are essential in the position as well. Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office. Institutional knowledge of UAB Oracle HR and Finance, PeopleAdmin, KRONOS, CTA, TALEO, IRAP, Axion, and training grants is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills
- A solid foundation in grants administration, human resources, and fiscal affairs in an academic setting is preferred.
- The applicant must be able to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and work at a fast pace in a department with numerous faculty, staff, residents, and students, including the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery department faculty.
Annual Salary Range: $63,835 - $98,855
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
