Job Description
Through on-the-job training, to learn to perform non-invasive neurodiagnostic procedures (e.g. transcranial doppler studies, neurovascular ultrasounds, digital EEG, tranmissions for outreach hospital, ambulatory EEG and carotid endarectomy). To alert nursing and/or technologist staff when clinical seizures or other paroxysmal events occur.To assist with various techniques and operation of conventional and/or portable equipment needed to perform a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures under the technical supervision of a lead or supervisor. To demonstrate an awareness of neurodiagnostic safety and promote equipment checks and maintenance to help ensure the maintenance of a safe operating environment. This is an entry level position requiring no prior experience performing neurodiagnostic studies. This position does not analyze data.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
