FACILITIES COORDINATOR II
This position is required to coordinate the routine operations of the School of Public Health facilities, maintaining facility and equipment serviceability, and coordinating building configuration for all events. The successful candidate will ensure facility security and post-event clean-up. Will also coordinate facility improvement and may supervise security and maintenance staff. They will process requisitions and check issuance for the Educational Foundation and associated entities as well as coordinate vending contracts for UAB. Will also assist in the preparation and monitoring of maintenance and improvement budgets for properties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Building Administrator for the Ryals Building
- Liaison with UAB's Information Technology department. Maintains CARES laptops and desktop support services inventory for the School of Public Health
- Accountable Equipment Officer for the School of Public Health
- Point of contact for annual space survey. Coordinates survey entry for the School of Public Health, and submits data for designated areas
- Manages building issues, which include housekeeping, maintenance, grounds keeping, security/safety, building alterations, and vending machines
- Coordinates space allocation and moves
- Performs other duties as assigned
Salary Wage: $45,395 - $73,770
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement
