PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR II
Administers the logistical support for a University-wide program, which is often of a large and/or complex nature. May participate in developing program plans, objectives, and directives. May supervise support staff. Acts as a communication liaison with outside resources. Plans and carries out special projects related to the success of the program. Responsible for adherence to the program budget. May provide education and training to the UAB community.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain, nurture, and expand strategic partnerships, networks, and coalitions
- Schedule LHSA team, individual, and group meetings, internal and external to UAB Generate meeting minutes and follow-up on important action items
- Forecast budget costs associated with community events
- Process invoices in a timely manner
- Prepare contracts, MOUs, and fees for service agreements
- Schedule and manage select community events
- Gather relevant data and support documentation as part of ongoing strategic planning efforts
- Serve as the initial point of contact for website inquiries and follow-up with respondents in a timely manner
- Conduct environmental and neighborhood scans to identify locations for wellness events and mobile market locations, liaison and communicate with community leaders
- Prepare presentations and write scientific reports
- Manage projects as assigned and work simultaneously on multiple tasks
- Oversee and supervise the work of students, volunteers, and community health workers
- Develop and update resource manuals, playbooks, and program protocols as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Hourly Wage: $18.35-$29.80
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
