Description
The Senior Learning Specialist will assess and teach cognitive and self-regulated learning skills to medical students, regularly evaluating their achievement and progress. They will develop active learning strategies, as well as study and test-taking skills essential for success in medical school. The role involves providing one-on-one academic coaching and group workshops to help students learn, retain, and apply complex material effectively. Additionally, the Senior Learning Specialist will lead the peer education program, supporting students in their academic journeys.
To work with and meet the diverse needs of at-risk medical students to provide them with the specialized advising needed to support their needs, to provide specific programming and to provide outreach to at-risk cohorts. To develop and oversee mission-critical programming. To develop initiatives for pipeline students, students with a decelerated academic trajectory, and for clinical students.
Salary Range: $60,835 - $98,855
Qualifications
Master's degree in Education or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
