Description
Manage all requests related to pregnancy or related conditions in the Title IX Office. Collaborate with numerous stakeholders across campus.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages and serves as primary case manager for all reports related to pregnancy, pregnancy related conditions or parenting.
- Manages and coordinates supportive measures for students, faculty and staff related to pregnancy or pregnancy related conditions.
- Develops, manages and implements robust training programs for all students, staff and faculty related to pregnancy or pregnancy related conditions.
- Conducts in person meetings with complainants, respondents, and witnesses involved in Title IX related matters.
- Conducts or assists leadership to conduct informal voluntary resolutions related to reports of sex-based discrimination or harassment.
- Manages and oversees the Title IX website
- Identifies systemic problems relating to complaints of sex-based discrimination, sex-based harassment, or pregnancy and related conditions, and recommends resolutions.
- Manages logistics involved in training/programming conducted by the Title IX Office.
- Assists with the management of the lactation program (website management, ongoing assessment, evaluation and collaboration with various entities across the UAB enterprise).
- Conducts informal voluntary resolutions related to reports of sex-based discrimination or harassment.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Commensurate upon experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies, Social Work, Higher Education Administration or a related field and four (4) years of related experience. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
