Description
Executive Assistant to the Dean; this position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Under minimal supervision, provide executive level assistance to the Dean of Graduate School.
- Deliver diverse, complex, and confidential administrative support
- Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative on assignments that are sensitive in nature.
- Collaborate with high level contacts inside and outside the institution.
- Draft emails, letters of support, and other confidential documents.*
- Possess high level knowledge of organization policy and procedure and stay informed on any changes.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data relevant to the Graduate School.
- Perform special assignments such as researching information and generating reports and presentations based on collected data.
- As needed, manage the Dean's calendar.
- Schedule meetings and ensure that the Dean is fully prepared.
- Assist the Graduate School Associate Deans with scheduling meetings and events.
- Manage travel arrangements for the Dean as well as invited university guests.
- Prepare and submit travel and all other reimbursements related to the Dean.
- Oversee conference room reservations and assist with events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
*A writing sample will be required.
This position may require work hours outside of normal office hours.
Annual Salary Range: $47,665 - $60,000
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
