PROGRAM MANAGER I
Responsible for administratively managing a University department under the general direction of a functional Program Director or under the auspices of a Program Advising Committee and according to an established program plan. May participate in the development of program objectives and is responsible for achieving objectives within defined parameters set by University and/or department policies and procedures or technical principles. May require fiscal management of grants and other funds. May manage multiple programs. Requires the use of independent judgment to determine the best approach to accomplish objectives established in the program plan. May supervise staff as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Works with grants administration team to create and maintain data management system for pre- and post- award activities in the Department
- Drafts and assists faculty in the submission of IRB, DUA, and MTA and other regulatory paperwork and ensure completion/approval
- Responsible for maintaining Departmental pre- and post- award documentation
- Actively participates as a member of the grants administration team by tracking and completing OSP and IRB submissions throughout a sponsored project's lifecycle ensuring that the grants administration team meets deadlines
- Update and maintain Other Support documents for faculty and adhere to policies defined by both the university and the funding agency. Manage calendar(s) for research faculty as needed. Performs other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $43,890-$71,320
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
Preferred Qualifications
Candidate will preferably have experience in pre- and post- award sponsored project activities. Candidate will ideally be a team player, organized, willing to learn and ask questions, able to follow clear instructions, able to multi-task and prioritize work assignments and be adaptable to meet demands.
