Description
Provides behavioral nutrition counseling to research participants to motivate them to adhere to study goals. Provides nutrition information, education and instruction. Performs research, collects/analyzes data, and prepares reports. Prepares instructional materials and maintains program records. Schedules and conducts nutrition assessment including food records, education and instruction. Performs pertinent record keeping and follow-up activities. Will occasionally assist with preparing meals in the metabolic kitchen, recruiting patients, and conducting other research study visits. Assists with data entry and data management. Hourly Pay Range: $22.90 - $37.25
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Alabama State Board of Examiners for Dietetics (BOED) required.
