DATA ENTRY SPECIALIST I
University of Alabama at Birmingham
The Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) seeks to hire a Data Entry Specialist to perform basic, routine data entry in support of the program's research activities. Under general supervision, the specialist will key and enter data from original source documents, forms, and records into computer using electronic data capture devices such as keyboards or optical scanners and will verify and update data as needed while identifying and correcting errors.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- To key from a variety of prepared original source documents, forms, and records; identifies and corrects errors.
- To perform other duties requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Characteristics
- Familiarity with basic or clinical research
- Familiarity with scientific and/or medical terminology
Hourly Range: $15.00-20.30
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with clinical documentation or data entry required.
