Are you passionate about supporting employees through their leave of absence process? Do you have a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills? UAB is seeking a dedicated Leave of Absence Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help us maintain our commitment to employee well-being and support.
Position Summary:
As the Leave of Absence Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating and administering the leave of absence process for UAB employees. Your responsibilities will include:

Facilitating the sick leave donation process.

Interpreting policies and providing guidance to employees, managers, and Human Resources Consultants.

Approving ACT leave documents.

Maintaining accurate records and reports related to leaves.

Initiating and maintaining communication with all parties involved in the leave process.

Recommending updates and clarifications to leave policies.

Presenting and instructing groups on the leave of absence process.
This role requires a high level of confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Salary Range: $42,000 - $49,000
Qualifications
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Three (3) years of related experience required (Work experience may substitute for education requirement).

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
