TRAINING COORDINATOR

The UAB Institutional Review Board for Human Use (IRB) seeks a Training Coordinator to facilitate professional development training for various staff. Provides classroom and one-on-one training. Develops and coordinates individual instruction materials and provides on-site user support. Ascertains needs, researches, develops, coordinates, and implements training programs. Designs and writes curriculum. Updates training manuals and maintains current educational materials. Manages training materials and documents in user-friendly formats for various end-users. Maintains appropriate records and documents for planning and implementing all support instruction, professional development, event attendance, materials, and activities. May assist with the recruitment of new program participants. Provides pre-service and continuing education activities. Participates in professional development activities and staff meetings as required. This position delivers training and professional development programming to members of the UAB Research community, Office of Institutional Review Board staff members, and UAB Institutional Review Board members. Lastly experience with public speaking (in-person/ virtual) is highly recommended.

Salary Wage Range: $52,555-$85,400

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
