About the job:
Based in Braine L’Alleud, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the NATO Integrated Mobile Service Centre, which provides NATO and its partners with scalable, protected, secure, reliable, and integrated Wireless Communication-based Services with a focus on NATO Operations, Crisis Response, Missions, Exercises and Business Continuity. The NIMSC Chief is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities for centre's following services: strategy, design, transition, operation and continuous service improvement including subject matter expertise, research and development, acquisition and logistic support.
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Principal Project Manager who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
· Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects.
· Provide effective leadership to the project team, with Proactive and solution-oriented line management of an assigned group of NIMSC Project Managers;
· Act as a routine contact point between the organisation and suppliers concerning contract management;
· Ensure effective project control, change control, risk management, and testing processes are implemented and maintained according to Agency processes and procedures;

About you:
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
· A Master’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in in an information systems, physics or electronics related scientific or engineering discipline, or other relevant scientific discipline and 5 years post-related experience. Or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years post related experience;
· A recognised formal Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE 2 Practitioner / Project Management Professional (PMP).
· Recent experience in C4ISR Project management and / or development projects for a large organization;
· Experience in Project Management tools, managing cost and labour;
· Fluency in English, both written and spoken
