Position Summary:
To provide help desk assistance and technical support for various tools and technologies affecting end users and stakeholders across campus. To aid in software implementation and documentation while complying with information security measures as determined by management and policy. To provide support for various requirements of UAB product infrastructures to help end users use various tools and technologies effectively and efficiently. This position is required to keep abreast of best practices in the field and remain up-to-date on current trends and new technologies. This position is solutions-oriented and should anticipate change and ensure the organization is positioned to succeed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and conducts training for all existing and new team members in various environments, including face-to-face, phone and virtual
- Provides technical support to end-users in solving problems, including support tickets in Salesforce Service Cloud
- Serves as a system administrator for the Salesforce Events environment, including basic configurations, users and user roles in Salesforce Events.
- Creates and maintains documentation on processes, policies, configuration, and user guides
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $47,665 - $54,615
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
