Compensation:
Pay Range: $25.25 - $41.05 / hour

- Full-Time Days: 40 hours/week
- Part-Time Days: 20 hours/week

Job Description:
To assist the physician in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias. To function in the roles of scrub assistant, monitor and circulator. To operate various equipment utilized in the cath lab.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required. If job is in The Kirklin Clinic (TKC), one (1) year of experience in a cardiac catheterization setting may be preferred. Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR currently licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by the Alabama Department of Public Health's (ADPH) Office of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Trauma required. Two years' experience in a cardiac catheterization lab may substitute for licensure/certification/registration requirement. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within one (1) year from date of hire into classification. If job is in The Kirklin Clinic (TKC), currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) required. Two years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab may substitute for licensure/certification/registration requirement. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required within one (1) year from date of hire into classification.
