Position Summary:

Under general supervision and established policies, procedures and practices, perform clinical procedures to prepare patients for treatment by physician in a rural health setting. Assist physician or other health team member to perform simple, non-invasive patient procedure and various other duties for a diverse patient population.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00

High School diploma or GED required. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and strong attention to detail; performs certain clerical duties such as documenting, referral scheduling and sending initial prescriptions and processing prescription refills.
