To collaborate with and at the direction of the CV surgeon and in collaboration with the healthcare team in performing a safe operation with optimal patient outcomes during the intraoperative phase of the CV perioperative experience. To practice CV perioperative nursing and possess the necessary knowledge, skills and judgment specific to CV clinical practice.

Salary Range $81,330.20 - $129,228.57

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nursing and two (2) years of CVOR experience or five (5) years of certified RNFA experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Currently certified with Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Currently credentialed as a Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) and Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) required. Currently certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
