Assists with tracking of equipment for Asset Management in accordance with University Policies, and Equipment Procedures as outlined. This position will analyze the payment invoices to vendors utilizing capital expenditure object codes to determine if the payment is for new or add-on capital equipment. To convert the capitalized item or items purchased into trackable systems or items and the appropriate cost attributed to each system/item.

Responsibilities:

Analyzes data and ensure processing according to policy responsible for entering asset data into tracking system and excel spreadsheets for processing. Responsible for accurately tracking, tagging and accounting for equipment whether onsite or remote. Ensure reporting is readily available upon request. Perform other duties as assigned.

(Hourly Rate: $18.85 - $19.41)

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed with a Driver's License from the State of Alabama required.

Will be organized and have the ability to stay on task and to communicate clearly.
