Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer hardware, software, and network. Monitoring help desk phones, e-mails, and other electronic problem reporting mechanisms. Makes sure they are responding appropriately in a precise and timely manner. Implements and installs new computer solutions and contributes to logistical solutions for unit needs. Utilizes Problem Management database to register problems and record most effective solutions. Contributes to departmental training with other staff and supervisor. Able to effectively resolve customer IT needs, record events/problems as well as their resolution in a ticketing system and perform other duties as assigned.
