PROGRAM MANAGER I

General Responsibilities:
Responsible for administratively managing a University department under the general direction of a functional Program Director or under the auspices of a Program Advising Committee and according to an established program plan. May participate in the development of program objectives and is responsible for achieving objectives within defined parameters set by University and/or department policies and procedures or technical principles. May require fiscal management of grants and other funds. May manage multiple programs. Requires the use of independent judgment to determine the best approach to accomplish objectives established in the program plan. May supervise staff as needed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of research projects from start-up through close-out.
2. Manage timelines, resources, and study operations.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements.
4. Support participant and data management workflows.
5. Serve as the primary liaison among investigators, sponsors, clinical teams, and other stakeholders.
6. Provide the organizational leadership needed to keep projects on schedule, maintain high-quality standards, and support the successful delivery of research objectives.
7. Support the growing volume and complexity of our research portfolio.
8. Provide the structure, continuity, and operational leadership needed to ensure timely execution, maintain regulatory integrity, and support the successful execution and expansion of our research.
9. Study operation protocol execution, including participant management.
10. Research project management.
11. Regulatory and compliance work.
12. Data management documentation.
13. Scientific reporting and dissemination.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary Pay Range: $43,890 – $71,320
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for the education requirement.
