PROGRAM MANAGER I

General Responsibilities
Responsible for administratively managing a University department under the general direction of afunctional Program Director or under the auspices of a Program Advising Committee and according to an established program plan.
May participate in the development of program objectives and is responsible for achieving objectives within defined parameters set by University and/or department policies and procedures or technical principles.
May require fiscal management of grants and other funds.
May manage multiple programs.
Requires the use of independent judgment to determine the best approach to accomplish objectives established in the program plan.
May supervise staff as needed.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Program Research Management: Manage day-to-day operations of extramurally funded research programs.
Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
Coordinate across investigators, staff, and institutional offices.
Regulatory Compliance Management: Manage IRB submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews.
Ensure compliance with human subjects regulations and institutional policies.
Maintain regulatory binders and audit-ready documentation.
Data Management Analysis: Manage REDCap database development and maintenance.
Oversee data quality, integrity, and documentation.
Conduct qualitative interviews and analyses.
Contribute to statistical and machine learning analyses.
Scientific Writing, Grants Dissemination: Draft and manage manuscripts, abstracts, and technical reports.
Prepare posters and presentations for conferences.
Assist with grant development and literature reviews.
Professional Collaboration
Other Duties: Support networking and collaboration activities.
Contribute to program planning and long-range initiatives.
Participant Recruitment Study Operations: Manage participant identification, recruitment, enrollment, and tracking.
Coordinate study visits, data collection, and follow-up.
Maintain informed consent and participant records.

Salary Range: $43,890 - $71,320
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
