Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Temp Services is seeking a Program Coordinator wit knowledge of UAB's financial and administrative systems (e.g., Contract Management System, myUABResearch, IRAP, Oracle) preferred. Other duties in this role will include; budget support, facilities/space management, pre and post-award grants, contracts administration, finance support and account reconciliation, along with coordinating programmatic functions and/or special assignments as requested. Able to interfaces with internal and external customers, and the ability to maintain vendor relationships. May provide oversight of clerical/secretarial support staff and perform other duties as assigned
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Carries out established program objectives and directives.
Determines the best approach to accomplish assignments.
May supervise support staff.
Communicates, using a variety of media, with internal and external constituencies.
May be responsible for adherence to program budget and/or other fiscal duties.
May assist with grant and contract preparation and submission.
May handle data management.
Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.55
Expected length of assignment: One (1) - Two (2) months
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience required.
