The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB)Temp Services is seeking a Network Intern.
Duties:
Network VoIP project
Cable testing, Making cables in data center.
Help replace legacy Network equipment
Network Test equipment
Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS)
Access Switches
Wireless Access Points
Make jumps in Communications Equipment Room as assigned.
Installs, test, certifies and troubleshoots campus and remote-campus network cable infrastructure
Help manage and maintain existing Network and peripherals.
Work Add moves and change work queue.
Help configure and install Network equipment.
Other tasks as assigned..
Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information
Decommission network equipment

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00
