Description
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining internal applications and data systems that support Clinical Research Support Enterprise (CReS)t operations, decision-making, and productivity. It includes building tools that leverage machine learning and generative AI, as well as applications for querying, reporting, and operational support. The position also oversees data integration and flow design, system maintenance, and ongoing enhancements.
To deploy the release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform system integration testing of PC/server operating systems, related utilities and hardware. To trouble shoot server problems as reported by users. To research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products. To support Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment. To provide new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, install new servers and maintain the server infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To design, develop, and deploy internal applications utilizing machine learning and generative AI to support CReSt operations, knowledge access, and productivity tools (e.g., chatbots and automation services).
• To design, develop, and maintain internal applications and services used for query, reporting, and operational decision support, including integration with institutional systems as appropriate.
• To design and implement data flow schemas and integration patterns for database repositories, including definition of inputs/outputs, transformations, and data validation checkpoints.
• To maintain and support internal applications and associated database repositories, including monitoring, troubleshooting, versioning, and planned enhancements.
• To ensure solutions and hosted services comply with applicable institutional IT policies, procedures, and security standards, including access controls, auditability, and data handling requirements.
• To implement and maintain secure authentication, authorization, and service accounts for internal applications and integrations.
• To develop and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks, including deployment procedures, monitoring/alerting, and continuity/recovery processes.
• To serve as liaison to institutional information technology teams to coordinate hosting, access, security reviews, and implementation of enterprise integration and support processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range : $55,180 - $89,670
Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field is required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
