Description
To supervise employees and/or a major process for a unit within UAB Financial Affairs.
This position is responsible for supervising employees and major processes in support of Accounts Payable. Seeking eager candidates ready to step into a supervisor role or with prior supervisory experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervises employees and/or major processes and operations to ensure success of the unit. May train staff, assign duties, interview, conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions. May approve time off requests and timesheets.
2. Manages workload to ensure timely review and approval of all submitted requests. Ensures management receives up to date progress and reports as required.
3. Guides, directs and resolves issues for departmental contacts to ensure completion of all submitted requests.
4. Provides guidance and direction to senior level administration, managers and campus wide customers as needed. Serves as back up in absence of Manager or Supervisor.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary range: $43,890 - $45,206.70
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
