ASSISTANT DIRECTOR-DEVELOPMENT

General Responsibilities:
To efficiently solicit and close a defined number of mid-level gifts within a specified timeframe for a specific school, college or unit on campus. To include intentional meetings with unqualified and/or qualified prospects to build a portfolio of mid-to-high net worth prospects. To effectively collaborate with advancement staff both within their unit and across campus to maximize philanthropic efforts. Travel may be required for this position.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Builds a donor network of mid-to-high net worth prospects.
2. Raises mid-level gifts.
3. Creates and deliver proposals to prospects and donors.
4. Executes fundraising plans designed by advancement/development leadership.
5. Executes grateful patient fundraising plan in partnership with advancement leadership and medical faculty in appropriate schools and units.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary Pay Range: $52,555 – $85,400
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
