DIRECTOR-ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS-SPH

General Responsibilities:
To direct the financial affairs of a large, complex department within the School of Public Health (SPH). To act as a liaison with internal and external customers regarding financial matters and to provide management and coordination of human resources functions. To manage staff and to ensure completion of projects and proper functioning of business and program operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Directs and manages financial analysis/forecasting/budgeting, enforcement, space and facilities planning and grants administration. Liaisons with internal and external customers regarding Biostatistics.
Reviews, manages and reconciles accounts. Processes financial documents including but not limited to journal entries, salary adjustments, and variance reports.
Provides management and coordination of human resource functions in collaboration with department leadership.
Manages staff to ensure completion of projects and proper functioning of business and program operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay Range:
This position is assigned to Wage Grade W.G410 (Job Code F010156) with a full Compensation - approved range of $94,375 – $153,355 annually (midpoint $122,685).
Final offers will be made within this grade range based on the candidate’s qualifications, internal equity, and the department’s budgeted amount for the role. Applicants whose stated salary expectations fall outside the posted grade range may not be considered.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or a related field.
Related fields include (but are not limited to):
o Health Services Administration
o Business Administration
o Finance
o Human Resources Management
o Organizational Leadership or Management
Experience: Seven (7) years of related experience required.
Related experience may include:
o Administrator or Business Manager
o Health Services Operations Manager
o Officer Grants and Contracts
o HR Manager in Higher Education or Healthcare
o Budget Analyst or Financial Officer
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
