Description
The Financial Affairs Associate II will provide technical financial support for an assigned organization unit. They will review requests and determine appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization, and conformance with established regulations. To assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts, review requisitions, and order equipment and supplies. To collect financial information and provide reports and analyses as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews, posts, and processes financial transactions in support of department/division activities to ensuring UAB purchases are compliant with State of Alabama, UA System Office, and institutional policies.
- Provides excellent customer service in a helpful and friendly manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
$31,200 - $32,136
Qualifications
Associate's degree and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
