Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Cell, Developmental, & Integrative Biology, is seeking a dedicated Researcher I to join their team.
General Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, to perform various support functions in a research laboratory.
To maintain equipment, computer database and lab supplies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Clean glassware and autoclave.
Pour agar plates of various sizes.
Make reagents / solutions.
Biohazards waste.
Stocking lab supplies.
Learn C. elegan genetics and experimental design to help with projects in the lab.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Hourly Range: $15.00 - $19.66
Qualifications
Qualifications
Associate's degree in related field OR High School diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
