UAB Temporary Services is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a temporary assignment supporting research and animal care operations. This is an entry-level position to work under close supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the technician will help maintain the animal colony and laboratory facilities in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.

Hourly Rate: $15.00/Hour

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and care.

• Strong interest in animal care and research support.

• Ability to lift/move equipment and perform physically active duties throughout the day.

• Willingness to learn and pursue AALAS certification.
