Compensation:
Pay Range: $43,235.00 - $70,255.00 / year

General Responsibilities:
To provide multidisciplinary rehabilitative care to the cardiac and pulmonary clinical patient population. To assess patient’s exercise, educational and behavioral needs. To be responsible for the evaluation of patient condition to include, but not limited to, strength and endurance, flexibility, and teaching to reduce falls through balancing routines. To work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment to include, medical directors, registered nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapy and other exercise physiologists in establishing rehabilitation goals and implementing individualized treatment plans. To assume a leadership role within multidisciplinary team as an exercise specialist guiding exercise prescription and progression, and designating specified exercise modalities for patient population through individual assessment. To be responsible for the understanding and pursuit of program performance metrics to ensure best outcomes with each patient. To respond to the unique needs of all patients ages young adult through geriatric.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Physical Education or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Previous experience in a cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation setting strongly preferred.
