UAB is seeking a researcher Technician through UAB Temporary Services to conduct rigorous science in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment that values mentorship, and outreach.

This position will use C. elegans and rodent models alongside genomic, genetic, behavioral, and microscopy techniques to explore the transcriptional and chromatin-based mechanisms development and plasticity, particularly how they are altered in neural disorders.

Key duties for this position include:

· Clean glassware and autoclave

· Pour agar plates of various sizes

· Make reagents / solutions

· Biohazards waste

· Stocking lab supplies

This is a Part time Temporary position

Hourly Pay Rate $12.hr

High School Diploma required
