PROGRAM MANAGER II - (T225491)

Description

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a PROGRAM MANAGER II to be responsible for administratively managing a large or complex University program or multiple programs. Provides input in the development of program plan and objectives with responsibility for achieving objectives within defined parameters. Typically supervises small staffs and are responsible for long range planning. Responsibilities include budgeting, networking/public relations, technical training and assistance, grant and report writing. May handle regulatory responsibilities, contract submissions and identify research funding. May handle event planning and oversight of construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Marketing - Lead CTL marketing efforts and works closely with the CTL Director to develop and execute marketing initiatives and campaigns.
2. Financial Management - Manages office financial details, including processing departmental reimbursements, grant contracts and payments, and reconciliation of CTL budget.
3. Communications and Technology - Manage the CTL website, perform updates to all CTL workshop series pages Classroom, Create CTL-specific video and graphic resources for the website, social media, annual report, and newsletter, Create and manage all CTL-hosted events within the UAB campus calendar system and Salesforce, Create the CTL's monthly newsletter using Salesforce, Use Qualtrics to create polls, and evaluation forms for CTL and Points Partners, Manage CTL inbox and calendar in Outlook, Order and manage general office supplies, Record meeting minutes, Manage purchasing and payments, Order and maintain employee and classroom technology, and Coordinate office travel.
4. Workshops/Space and Event Management - Communicate cleaning and maintenance needs to Facilities partners, Ensure the classroom and atrium is clean and ready for use, Schedule and manage the CTL workshop classroom and atrium, Offer first-level technical support for classroom and atrium, order catering and workshop refreshments, coordinate with Points Partner organizations to schedule workshops, Manage check-in during events, Track certificate progress for all attendees, Digitally create and print teaching certificates, Notify awardees and their supervisors of their accomplishments.
5. Planning annual Points Party celebration Commencement - Attend and offer behind the scenes support for commencement each semester Manage 1-2 student workers who assist with day-to-day tasks.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
(Annual Salary: $51,270 - $83,300)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
