PROGRAM MANAGER I

The Precision Medicine Institute is looking for a dedicated program manager who will work with the leadership team to overseeing the development and implementation of the CHARMomics framework. They will coordinate the cross-functional team and undertake project management activities to ensure the project aligns with broader programmatic goals. They will coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders overseeing the tasks related to standardization and harmonization of omics data. They will support the team in developing reports and provide stakeholder and leadership feedback. This role my also provide grant oversight and assist with operations and reporting. May prepare and review various reports for the program and administers logistical support for a large and complex program
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for administratively managing a University department under the general direction of a functional Program Director or under the auspices of a Program Advising Committee and according to an established program plan.
- May participate in the development of program objectives and is responsible for achieving objectives within defined parameters set by University and/or department policies and procedures or technical principles.
- Assist with grant applications and manuscript preparation.
- Provide grant oversight and assist with operations and reporting.
- May prepare and review various reports for the program and administers logistical support for a large and complex program
- Overseeing the development and implementation of the CHARMomics framework.
- May require fiscal management of grants and other funds.
- Support the team in developing reports and provide stakeholder and leadership feedback.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders overseeing the tasks related to standardization and harmonization of omics data.
- Coordinate the cross-functional team and undertake project management activities to ensure the project aligns with broader programmatic goals
- May manage multiple programs.
- Requires the use of independent judgment to determine the best approach to accomplish objectives established in the program plan.
- May supervise staff as needed

Salary Range: $43,890 - $71,320
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.
- Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
